Welcome to the Physiatry department of DuPage Medical Group. Also known as the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, we specialize in non-surgical care for patients with pain or loss of function. Physiatrists can treat a wide range of injuries or illnesses including acute or chronic back and neck pain; injuries related to work or sports; as well as other joint/extremity problems. They may also see patients in which surgical intervention has been unsuccessful.
Mission
To provide a thorough, comprehensive assessment which allows for the development of a specific non-surgical treatment plan for adult, geriatric and adolescent patients in our community. We are dedicated to empowering patients by maximizing their function in activities related to work, personal or family care, and sports or physical fitness. We work closely with your referring physician in order to collaboratively determine and execute your specific treatment plan.
We determine the most appropriate treatments utilizing physical/occupational therapy, education, pharmaceuticals or injections to effectively decrease pain and restore function.
