Courtney Trainor joined DuPage Medical Group Department of Plastic Surgery in August 2010. As a licensed physician assistant, she works under the supervision of Dr. Steven Sigalove, board certified plastic surgeon. Courtney evaluates and treats patients in the clinic as well as assisting in surgery. Her compassionate nature combined with her patience and willingness to listen allows her to provide excellent quality care for all of her patients.
Courtney received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Elmhurst College in 2007. She then continued on to receive her Master’s in Medical Science from Midwestern University’s Physician Assistant Program, graduating in June 2010. While in school, she completed clinical rotations in Primary Care, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Orthopedics. Her final clinical rotation was in Plastic Surgery where she shadowed and trained with Dr. Sigalove.
Courtney believes strongly in continuing medical education and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA).
