Vijay Francis PT, DPT joined DMG in 2009. He is a 1989 graduate of the Government Medical College in Nagpur, India with a BS in Physiotherapy. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy through A.T. Still University in Arizona. Additionally, Vijay is specialty certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through an APTA sponsored course conducted by Dr. Susan Herdman.
With over 20 years of experience, Vijay is skilled in the treatment of all orthopedic conditions. He especially enjoys working with the post-surgical patient population, employing both manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to help them achieve optimal results. As part of our Vestibular Rehabilitation Team, Vijay is able to expertly treat patients with vestibular, equilibrium and balance disorders including BPPV and vestibular hyperfunction. Vijay stays current with advances in the field of vestibular rehabilitation and orthopedic physical therapy through regular participation in continuing education seminars.
In addition to patient care, Vijay is also active in educating the next generation of Physical Therapists as a clinical instructor and mentor. Vijay is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Marathi.
