Dr. Pin Lin is a welcome addition to the DuPage Medical Group Department of Rheumatology.
Dr. Lin completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Chicago where she was elected to the honor society Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She went on to complete her internship and residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Lin then returned to Northwestern where she completed a fellowship in Rheumatology. During her fellowship, she was awarded a grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) to conduct research on systemic lupus erythematosus. She also received the 2006 Chicago Young Investigator Award from the Arthritis Foundation for her research on lupus and pregnancy.
Dr. Lin has been practicing as a board-certified rheumatologist in Chicagoland since 2006. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care. She believes that open communication and a strong patient-physician partnership are essential to patient care. Her special interests include rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus and spondyloarthropathy. She is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital, Edwards Hospital and Central DuPage Hospital.
