As a board certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Sara Nelson specializes in caring for the health of the whole family. Combining experience and compassion, she focuses on building strong patient relationships through treatment and prevention. Her special areas of clinical interest include care of developmentally delayed adults, women's health and well child care.
Dr. Nelson earned her medical degree in 2000 from Rush Medical College. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
