DuPage Medical Group is eager to introduce Dr. Mark Isoniemi as a member of our Family Medicine department. Dr. Isoniemi is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician. His clinical interests include routine newborn care, pediatric care, adolescent medicine as well as adult health. He is very experienced in dealing with cholesterol, hypertension, and adult diabetes. He has special interests in exercise and nutrition planning for disease prevention and weight loss.
Dr. Isoniemi comes to us with years of experience in Joliet, Illinois, where he served as president of his medical group for the last four years. He also served on the Family Medicine, Credentials and Medical Executive Committees at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Isoniemi received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Stanford University in 1993, and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1997. In 2000, he finished his training at the MacNeal Family Practice Residency in Berwyn.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Isoniemi is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
