Alison Monagan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with an emphasis in pre-med studies from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1994. Following her undergraduate education, she worked as a medical assistant for three years for a dermatologist where she had hands-on experience in the basics of dermatologic care. She then returned to school and earned her Master of Science degree in the 30 month Physician Assistant Program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1999.
Alison particularly enjoyes treating teenagers and children with acne and warts. She feels great satisfaction in seeing the changes in the confidence and self-esteem in young people when their skin improves. Alison has been working as a physician assistant in dermatology since 2000 and has worked with Dr. Herrmann since 2001.
