Laura Marzulli joined Dupage Medical Group in 2009. Laura received her BS in physical therapy from the University of Vermont in 1985 and has worked as a physical therapist in Illinois since 1988. For the last 10 years Laura has focused her professional interest on educating and treating the female population. She has advanced training and clinical expertise in working with patients who have a variety of disorders that are commonly found in women such as: urinary or fecal incontinence, interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain, pelvic prolapse, pain with intercourse, post surgical pain, prenatal and post partum conditions, and osteoporosis. Laura is passionate about empowering women and not only wants to help them reach their personal goals but also strives to help them improve their overall sense of well-being.
Laura has participated in many areas of advanced clinical course work including treatment approaches for incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic girdle pain in pregnancy and post partum, post surgical abdominal pain, and osteoporosis. She received a certificate in specialization in Women’s Health from Texas Women’s University in 2002. She is the coordinator of the Women’s/Men’s Health Pelvic Floor Therapy Team here at Dupage Medical Group and looks forward to more program development in the areas of women’s and men’s health.
Laura is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the APTA Section on Women’s Health. In addition, she is an active participant of the Chicagoland Pelvic Floor Research Consortium and the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
