Dr. Stratta brings a lifetime of leadership and medical excellence to DuPage Medical Group. In 1990, Dr. Stratta founded Brian K. Stratta, MD, SC, Ltd., a successful family medical practice, and led the group as Senior Partner for 12 years. Since 1995, he has been Medical Director of Naperville Health Care Associates. Previously both President of Edward Hospital’s medical staff and the Medical Director of the Physician Hospital Organization, Dr. Stratta is a board certified family practitioner who strives for efficient, high quality patient-focused care. His efforts on behalf of the medical community have led to cost effective practices and greater openness in the managed care field.
In 1984, Dr. Stratta received his medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Family Practice at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in 1987. Deeply committed to the DuPage community, Dr. Stratta has held leadership positions with Edward Hospital since 1991, including Medical Director of the CARE Clinic, which evaluates and treats victims of child abuse as well as educates emergency room personnel and other physicians on child abuse topics. As President of the Edward Hospital Medical Staff, he Chaired the Medical Executive Committee. He was a member of the Edward’s Strategic Planning Committee and Cardiac Hospital Recommendation Committee.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Family Physicians, Dr. Stratta is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. A long-time DuPage resident, he is affiliated with Edward Hospital.
