With her warm and caring approach, Dr. Manali Amin addresses the needs of her patients suffering from diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, and throat. She is a board-certified Otolaryngologist who joins DuPage Medical Group direct from Children’s Hospital in Boston, where she has practiced for the last six years. While she enjoys helping patients of all ages, her love of children led her to a focus in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
After receiving her medical degree from Southern Illinois University and completing her residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Amin went on to complete a year long fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital in Boston. In addition to treating patients with varying complexities of issues, she taught and supervised otolaryngology residents and pediatric otolaryngology fellows during her tenure at Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include hearing loss, sinusitis, sleep apnea, and the unique needs of Down’s Syndrome patients relating to ear, nose and throat disorders.
Dr. Amin has published numerous journal articles and has presented her research at many regional and national academy meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the American College of Surgeons. She is affiliated with Edward, Good Samaritan, and Central DuPage Hospitals.
