As a board certified, pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Guay-Bhatia specializes in general pediatric eye exams, eye exams for special needs children, amblyopia (lazy eye vision), strabismus (lazy eye) surgery and NLD (tear duct) surgery.
Dr. Guay-Bhatia received her medical degree from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine where she also completed a residency in Ophthalmology. She completed a chief residency and a two year fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago and was also co-director of the Eye Trauma Service.
Dr. Guay-Bhatia is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus as well as the Chicago Ophthalmological Society. She is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward, Hinsdale and Rush Copley Memorial Hospitals.
