A member of our Family Practice Department since 2001, Dr. Fitzgerald focuses on teaching families, including children and the elderly, how to stay healthy, active, and injury-free. His expertise includes diabetes, asthma, sports medicine, and acute care issues. Dr. Fitzgerald has instructed medical students in a variety of settings, including Family Practice clinics, intensive care units, and pediatric and obstetric wards.
Dr. Fitzgerald earned his medical degree in 1998 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He completed his Residency at MacNeal Family Practice Residency in Berwyn, IL.
Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Edward Hospital.
