Rohena Ullal joined Dupage Medical Group in 2010 after having received her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in 2005. Rohena was honored with the “College of Health Professional Clinical Education Award” from her university. Rohena has been practicing as a lead orthopedic and pelvic floor therapist for 5 years. She joins DMG with a wealth of knowledge and a passion in treating and educating patients about the role and importance of physical therapy in men and women’s health issues.
Rohena is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) section on Women’s Health. She is one of the few physical therapists in the state of IL who has completed her certification in pelvic physical therapy from the APTA. This means that she is has undergone extensive education, training and testing in the area of men and women’s pelvic floor disorders. Roheena works with both men and women who have urinary symptoms such as incontinence, urgency, frequency, hesitancy and retention as well as pain in the genital region, abdomen, buttocks and lower back.
Roheena is also a certified clinical instructor and enjoys mentoring physical therapy students in the clinical setting. She is actively involved in participating in community service lectures to raise awareness and educate the public on the many benefits of physical therapy for a variety of conditions that are common to women.
