A member of our Internal Medicine and Pediatrics departments, Dr. Dungan is an experienced Internist who specializes in infant, child, and adolescent healthcare. He is a certified provider of neonatal advanced life support (NALS) and basic life support, as well as a certified instructor in advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Dungan's special areas of clinical interest include cholesterol, hypertension, nutrition and preventive medicine.
Dr. Dungan received his medical degree in 1988 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He completed his combined Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center/Foster McGaw Hospital.
Dr. Dungan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center.
