DuPage Medical Group is proud to welcome Dr. Christopher Simon to the Department of Neurology. Dr. Simon is Board Certified in Neurology, with subspecialty Board Certification in Vascular Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. He believes that every patient deserves a careful and thorough neurological evaluation, communicating with patients and their families with language that is easy to understand.
Dr. Christopher Simon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and German from West Virginia University, and in 1999 received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown. He spent the next four years at Emory University School of Medicine completing a one-year internship in Internal Medicine followed by a three-year Neurology Residency in 2003. Dr. Simon completed an intensive, one-year fellowship in Neurophysiology at Emory University in 2004.
Dr. Simon has a variety of clinical interests including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, carpal tunnel syndrome, epilepsy, headache, Parkinson’s Disease, sleep disorders, and peripheral neuropathy. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, American Stroke Association, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Simon is affiliated with Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, where he serves as Medical Director for the Stroke Program.
