DuPage Medical Group is proud to welcome Dr. Armita Bijari to the Department of Neurology. Dr. Bijari is board certified in Clinical Neurophysiology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Neurology. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care of neurological patients with emphasis on communication and a holistic approach to problem solving in regards to neurological issues. She is committed to competent and thorough medical care evaluation and treatment of her patients.
Dr. Bijari received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1985, and in 1989 received her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She went on to complete a one-year internship in Internal Medicine in 1990 followed by a three-year Neurology Residency both at Rush-Presbyterian-St.Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Bijari completed an intensive, one-year fellowship in Neurophysiology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St.Luke’s Medical Center in 1994.
Dr. Bijari has a variety of clinical interests including Alzheimer’s Disease, Brain Tumor/Cancer, Carpal Tunnel, Dementia, Electrophysiology, EMG, Epilepsy, Headache Treatment/Management, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. She is a member of the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Academy of Neurology, Chicago Neurological Society and the American Medical Women’s Association.
She is affiliated with Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
