DuPage Medical Group welcomes Dr. Elias Koliopoulos, a suburban Chicago native, to its department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Elias Koliopoulos, a well-trained, compassionate, and dedicated physician, will be practicing at the DuPage Medical Group’s location in Hinsdale.
Dr. Elias Koliopoulos earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with highest honors, summa cum laude, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, a national academic honor society. He went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national honor medical society. Dr. Koliopoulos then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Elias Koliopoulos is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. His clinical interests include preventative medicine, adult onset diabetes, and heart disease risk factor reduction, including hypertension, cholesterol, and smoking cessation. He is affiliated with Hinsdale and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
