Renee Corner, OT, joined the DuPage Medical Group’s Physical and Occupational Therapy Practice in 2006. She serves as the Clinical Coordinator of Hand Therapy and practices out of our Glen Ellyn location.
Renee earned her BS in OT in 1991 and her Masters of Science in OT in 1995, both from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has over 14 years of experience in the treatment of hand, finger, wrist, and upper extremity injuries and is an expert in creating custom splints for both surgical and non-surgical diagnoses. Renee stays up-to-date with the latest research and surgical techniques through her participation in clinical education seminars on tendon trauma, wound care, upper extremity rehabilitation, splinting, and arthritis management. Renee enjoys a close working relationship with our referring physicians and keeps them updated on their patients’ progress. In practice she emphasizes education of her patients on the nature of their injury, purpose of each exercise, and self-management to help them achieve the best possible outcome and the greatest improvement in their function.
Renee is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. She is licensed and certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and the American Board of Occupational Therapy.
