Elisa Caruso has been a member of the professional staff of therapists at DMG since 2004 after graduating with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Bradley University. She enjoys working with a wide spectrum of ages and diagnoses, from high-school athletes to our Senior Citizens following joint replacement surgery. In addition to treating Orthopedic and Sports Medicine patients, Elisa is specialty trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation and is able to expertly treat patients with dizziness, balance disorders, and Vertigo. In addition to patient care, she also serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for our group. In efforts to further a student’s clinical education, Elisa works with educators from area Physical Therapy schools and places students with Clinical Instructors at one of our many DMG therapy locations.
An optimistic and energetic individual, Elisa uses a comprehensive treatment strategy to help her patients accomplish their rehabilitation goals. In combination with function –based therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, Elisa strives to educate her patients on the nature of their injury so that they can be an active participant in their own recovery.
Elisa is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association.
