Diane Baylor joined DuPage Medical Group in 2010, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in the field of hand rehabilitation and custom splinting. Diane is a 1988 graduate from the Occupational Therapy program of University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, Diane holds a Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT), which she earned in 2001.
As a Certified Hand Therapist, Diane provides specialized evaluation and assessment of upper extremity injuries including tendon and nerve trauma, wrist and finger fractures, repetitive strain injuries, crush injuries, and joint sprains and strains. She believes in a comprehensive approach to treatment including manual therapy for joint and soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercises, custom splinting for both surgical and non-surgical conditions, and patient education.
