DuPage Medical Group welcomes Dr. Joseph Henske to its department of Endocrinology. Dr. Henske will be practicing at DuPage Medical Group’s location in Glen Ellyn.
Dr. Joseph Henske earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, graduating cum laude in 1999. Dr. Henske went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004. Dr. Henske completed his Internship and Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from 2004-2007 and completed an Endocrinology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2007-2010.
Dr. Joseph Henske has an ABIM Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and is part of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Henske is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Medical Association. He has been actively engaged in fundraising on behalf of the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Dr. Henske welcomes patients with all endocrine conditions or concerns for evaluation. Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes himself at age 15, he has maintained a special interest in research and clinical efforts to treat and find a cure for this disease.
