DuPage Medical Group is proud to welcome Dr. Ikna Krysiak to the Department of Endocrinology. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Dr. Krysiak will be joining the staff at the DuPage Medical Group location in Bloomingdale on Stratford Drive. Her clinical interests include adult endocrinology with special emphasis on diabetes, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders as well as conditions associated with bone and mineral metabolism, such as osteoporosis and parathyroid disorders.
Dr. Krysiak received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in 1999, her Masters in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami in 2001, and in 2005 received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at J.H. Stroger Cook County Hospital in Chicago and her Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at both J.H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Rush University Medical Center.
